I’m really into Bright Eyes too right now. My favorite off the latest cd is “Waste of Paint.” I believe it was Rolling Stone who called Conor Oberst (singer/songwriter) a modern-day Dylan. High praise but I feel it’s warranted.
I’m always listening to anything Pedro the Lion….

Sam, have you heard Badly Drawn Boy’s previous disc “the Hour of Bewilderbeast?” I enjoy it much more than the About a Boy soundtrack.

Actually, Yes, I have heard about it, and I love it dearly. It actually has had more play time over all in my CD player than the About a Boy Soundtrack but at the time I listened to the Soundtrack more.

So i was reading an earlier post about Fred Durst being the axis of evil which digressed into a discussion of good music now, and i was curious as to what others on this site listened too. I am a huge fan of music of all kinds and i am always looking for new bands and artists, so i was just wondering what was playing in everyone else’s cd players lately.
I am currently listening to The Strokes, which i just got today, and i love it!!! I have also been listening to Dylan, Ryan Adams, Dashboard, Wilco, and Counting Crows. I would assume that everyone on this board has at least heard of all those bands, but if you haven’t, check them all out, they are all incredible
