Dr. Gene Veith is a professor of English at Concordia University Wisconsin, where he has also served as dean of the School of Arts & Sciences. He is currently the director of the Cranach Institute at Concordia University, a center devoted to the study of Christianity and culture, and cultural editor of WORLD magazine. Veith graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1973 and received a doctorate in English from the University of Kansas in 1979.
