Winona Lake was a retreat area way back and they’ve been trying to rebuild it over the last few years. There’s a number of artists with different shops all by the lake. On the corner of the shops, there’s a cafe called The Blue Lion that’s become kind of like Cheers for some of us and some artists around here. Across from the shops is a great park where we play bocci ball. The atmosphere is just hyper-leisurely. So should people visit? If you’re looking to do some hard-core relaxation, by all means.
By the way, small world on the connections. I don’t think I ever met your sister Dan, but I do know Tim and he’s a real cool kid. He was telling me that he’s applying to work for some magazines or get some journalism training last time I talked to him.
