I’m hoping some folks on this board can give me some advice from experience (of speaking and listening) about two people speaking/preaching together. A local pastor has asked my husband and I to preach, but we haven’t mastered the art (if there is one) of speaking as a pair. We’ve previously tried dividing up the outline and taking sections, but that felt somewhat forced. Have you ever spoken publicly with another person and found a method that worked? Have you seen two people speak together successfully? If so, what seemed to be some keys to that sucess?

Thanks for your help.

I don’t have any specifics for you right now, but this sounds like a question similar to that of how to team teach. I’ve been looking into it as I’m teaching a research paper with another teacher, and there’s been a lot published in the education field about how best to present with a co-teacher. An internet search on “team teaching” might be helpful to you.
