Hi,
I’ve just spent the last hour crafting a resonse to Jeff Kursonis, pressed the preview button and then it all disappeared!

Has this gone to a final resting place in the ether or have I just wasted the last hour??

I apologize for your loss of post and time. I couldn’t say for certain what happened, but I don’t think it’s a systemic issue; perhaps a one-time glitch, which could be caused by a great number of factors.

Has anyone else had similar problems posting on the discussion board? If so, please let me know so I can address it more thoroughly.

I’ve not encountered that problem here (seeing as how I’ve only posted a few times), but this has happened to every so often on other message boards. As Rob said, it can be caused by any number of factors, and there really isn’t any way to get it back (unless you copied it before you hit ‘preview’).

I just chalk it up to this: humanity is fallen, and so is the technology we make. :)

when i remember to do it, i copy my post before clicking on “submit”…just in case. especially if it’s one i’ve worked on for a long time, since i’ve had some of them disappear before here and other places, though not regularly.
