I don’t think solution should always be posed. True, posing solutions eliminates feelings of hopelessness and abandonment, but I do not think the film maker should be required to make you feel good. He obviously made you think, prompting you to write about and ponder its message. And by doing that, I think he’s achieved his goal. Don’t be quick to penalize something that sparks thought.
