Hi everyone, I?m new to this board and wondered if there were any Andrea Bocelli fans out there. I have been obsessed with his last album "Andrea? and wanted to trade feedback! If you haven?t had the privilege to hear this Italian singer check him out on andreabocelli.com

I’m really surprised, no one here knows what I’m talking about. Andrea Bocelli is one of the best pop/opera singers out there in the world. Did you guys even know that he was blind? I thought that was an amazing thing for a blind man. In a way he’s kind of like ray charles minus the piano. Please let me know what you guys think, cuz I want to make new friends. Thanx.

I do know who you’re talking about…unfortunately, I dont like his music or voice quite as much as you do! I’m not a huge fan of the opera/pop mix…

Andrea Bocelli’s new album"Andrea" is a little different than the other ones because it has more of a classical-pop feeling to it! You got to give it a chance and let me know what you think of it! www.andreabocelli has some tracks you can listen to, it definitely has a different tone than the older albums.

I think he’s hot, in an unkempt middle-aged kind of way, but like kristinmarie I’m no fan of the music.

Bocelli is definitely hot, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I never liked classical music especially in a language that I didn’t even understand. When I heard his last album “Andrea” it gave me a different feel to it, which made me appreciate classical music and now I want to check out opera?s. What kinds of music do you guys like?

sounds to me like Bocelli and pop-opera in general could be a gateway drug to hard-core opera. is this what’s happening to you soundselectah?
