New website, ageing writer!

Hi everyone,

Well I’ve finally succumbed to pressure and plucked up the courage to go public! I’ve just published a website with some of my photographs on it and a serialisation of some of my short stories. My broadband service provider gives access to basic web publishing tools and so I decided to take the plunge and see what kind of response I get.

I’ve been published before within the context of academic or journalistic content, art reviews and interviews, research and that kind of stuff, but never something written in this more personal way!

I must admit to great fear and trepidation about this, not so much about the photography, but with regard to the stories. I think the biggest fear for unpublished writers is rejection, because of the lack of validation or worth shown by an established literary agent or publisher. I’ve just started on this long and winding road to find an agent or publisher, but would be interested to know if there are any writers in cinoland who have the same feelings or expriences.

Let me be brave then and give you my web address.
