A good friend just gave us this CD and we can’t stop playing it. It’s a man, Sam Beam and his guitar, with some amazing harmonies (his own voice), and the ocassional banjo. Very similar earthiness of mellow acoustic Simon and Garfunkel…but just one guy. He’s on SubPop and the album is called “The Creek Drank the Cradle.” Had to share. May be too mellow for some of you harder rock fans…
