We absolutely love this album. Its always on my 5 cd rotation…if you notice, we posted it a month or so ago. Looks like we have escellent taste in music…

a friend of ours is hooked on iron and wine right now and she let me dump it on my computer. i’m listening to “the creek drank the cradle” right now. is that a different album, scott, or did i just get the title wrong?
anyway, it’s wonderful. his slide guitar is amazing and beautiful.

I just heard one of the best new artists I’ve heard in a long while. He’s a cinematography teacher from Miami who calls himself Iron and Wine. His music is very much influenced by Nick Drake. His entire album (The Creek Swallowed the Cradle) is acoustic and really lo-fi. If anyone out there has heard him post what you think here, and if you haven’t heard him yet, check him out. It’s good news.
