woah. This is so weird, because just today I picked out from my bookshelf “The Inner Game of Music.” I’ve had it for about five years, but when I read it long ago I didn’t know enough about performing as an artist to apply it to my own study in piano. I’m about to start my doctoral program on Wednesday, and have been struggling long and hard to figure out how to let myself lose a bit of control and become more expressive in my playing. I’m hoping that this book will help. Anyway, that’s beside the point of this post—I just thought it was a strange coincidence…
