Karissa Knox Sorrell is a writer and ESL Instructional Coach. Her writing has been published in Relief: A Christian Literary Review, San Pedro River Review, Etchings, Touchstone, St. Katherine Review, Circa Review, and at www.patheos.com. Growing up as a missionary's kid in Thailand, Karissa developed a love for people from other cultures and backgrounds. For the last twelve years she has worked with ESL students, immigrant families, and ESL teachers in public schools in Tennessee. Karissa is an Eastern Orthodox Christian and blogs about spirituality, family life, writing, and education. She lives with her husband and two children in Nashville, Tennessee.
