Jana is a New Yorker on hiatus in the Midwest, collecting her thoughts and enjoying the chance to see America from a different point of view. She most recently served as the senior advisor to President Bush's Special Envoy to Sudan (Richard S. Williamson). Previously, she was a speechwriter for the Secretary of the Treasury (Henry M. Paulson), and the Deputy Spokesman for a succession of U.S. Ambassadors to the United Nations during the Bush Administration.
