I am a recent Calvin College graduate, interning for *culture is not optional in Three Rivers. I enjoy the visual arts, especially as it intersects with narrative, personal experience, and social justice. Inspiration for me comes from nature, conversations , as well as various artists including Alessandro Gottardo, Julie Mehretu, and Hollie Chastain. Simplicity in the minimalist approach intrigues me; line seems to assist in communicating complex topics and feelings, making them more approachable.
