Robin Barcus is a multidisciplinary artist who concentrates in indoor and outdoor sculptures, installation and performance art.&nbsp; Her work infuses stunning visual spectacle with humor and grace, dealing with issues of the environment, gender, sexuality and the creative process itself in unexpected ways.&nbsp; A Chicago native, Robin graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in 1993.&nbsp; She has shown extensively in the American Midwest, as well as internationally in Holland and England.&nbsp; A prolific writer, Robin has been published in the <em>New Art Examiner</em>, was a staff writer for <em>F Magazine</em>, and for two years was editor of the <em>Chicago Women&rsquo;s Caucus for Art News</em>.&nbsp; In addition, she also experiments with painting, drawing, collage, printmaking and photography.
