I really wish I could:
Freestyle rap
-rap at all, for that matter
-play piano
-sell stuff
-you know, be a salesman
-be married to a Canadian (woman)
-do a gainer off of the diving board
-catch a frisbee while doing a cartwheel
-cartwheel
-read fast
-sing with vibrato
-look under my car’s hood and have any clue what I’m looking at. So I could say, “Oh, crap. I’ve got a squid on the manifold.”
-beat my older, nerdier brother at video games. He always wins.
-cease to be afraid of auditions
-cease to be afraid of death.

If you scroll up, you’ll see that one of my wishes was to know what happened to my dog, who I gave up for adoption through a rescue about 2.5 years ago.

Well, I think my wish (actually, a prayer) is coming true.

About a year ago we moved to our current house. In the last 3 weeks, I have spotted my old dog twice – once in a car at a grocery store and just the other day I saw him hanging out in the grass at his new house. Get this – he lives 1 MINUTE AWAY FROM ME and THREE HOUSES AWAY from some friends of ours.

I am positive it’s my old dog. Same mixed breed (he was an unusual mix), same collar he had when I gave him up. Same attitude. I’m going to get to the bottom of this (without letting his new family know … I’d hate for them to think I’m nuts). But, seriously, this could be an answer to prayer. It has bothered me tremendously over the last couple years that I gave him up for adoption and it really ate at me that I didn’t know where he was. To think that we might be practically neighbors. Wow.

Part of me feels like this is wishful thinking coloring my opinions. On the other hand, those who don’t believe in providence miss out on a lot of cool stuff.

I wish that:
I never did any wrong!
I wish I never got angry and everyone always loved me for who I was
that everyone I met remembered me and wanted to be like me
that I met the person who was PERFECT for me and married them and had lots of perfect little children
that I had no worries

well- life’s just not like that! But you know the Lord knows and he has His reasons and although I get real frustrated with Him sometimes it’s not all bad!!!!!!
